DIYACD INC, located in Etobicoke, ON, is currently seeking applications for the role of Retail Sales Supervisor from candidates who are driven and possess strong people skills. The selected individual will be expected to commence work immediately.
This position is for permanent, full-time employment. Work schedules may vary, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, shifts, overtime, on-call, flexible hours, early mornings, and mornings.

Wage: $22.50 per hour for 35 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the performance of team members, including apprentices, stagehands, and the design team.
- Allocate tasks to the sales team.
- Recruit new staff and oversee or coordinate their training.
- Approve cheque payments and manage merchandise orders.
- Authorize merchandise returns.
- Set up work schedules for the team.
- Drive sales and manage the presentation of merchandise.
- Compile reports detailing sales volumes, merchandising, and staffing issues.
- Maintain and manage stock levels.
- Address and resolve any issues, such as customer complaints or stock shortages.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the sales team.
- Conduct performance evaluations of staff.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Completion of Secondary (high) school education.
- Experience of 1 to less than 7 months in a similar field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal abilities.
- Must be organized, adaptable, and a cooperative team member.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
